ESP Fortis 

ESP Fortis N2 (fortis = Latin for strong) is a new development of VR, basing on the German standard crash barrier ESP. To provide a low working width, the system does not require spacers and is reinforced by a second beam behind the main rail. The post distance can be reduced gradually from 2.00 m to a minimum of 0.66m, which also reduces the working width gently from W4 to W2. By this continuously increased the rigidity, the risk of pocketing is minimal. Thus, punctual obstacles like trees or signposts can be easily secured without changing the lateral restraint system.
